PLANNING FOR INCLUSION
RESULTS
The 21S#2 seminar aimed to contribute to the theoretical critical debate of architecture and urbanism, according to a perspective that takes into account the conceptual and political limits of the disciplinary strategies identified as “post-critical”. By looking at new tools for analysis and reflection, it sought to detect potentially transformative - counter-hegemonic and inclusive - trends, both in relation to disciplinary strategies and appropriation tactics.
During the seminar we discussed the issue of “inclusion” in relation to topics such as: social housing, urban design, state and politics, theory and criticism. The ideological crisis of neoliberalism after the 2008 Crisis, and its consequences for the urban spaces of the global North and South, was an important milestone for the contextualization of the discussions.
